Helgeland and Reeves Tasked with Adapting BUTTON MAN for Netflix

The three-headed creative monster of Brian Helgeland, Matt Reeves and Roger Kass, will combine on adapting yet another graphic novel at Netflix, with Button Man.

Button Man, released in 1995, from creators John Wagner and Arthur Ranson, tells the story of an ex-military contractor named Harry Exton, who is paid to fight in modern-day gladiatorial contests. He sets out on a journey to use the powers-that-be to bring their corrupt world down.

Helgeland will write the script and direct, while both Reeves and Kass will serve as producers. There’s no news yet on a cast or when production will start, but be on the lookout for more news later in the year.
