In an effort to continue supporting the authentic stories of women, HBO has created the Inspiration Room. Opening March 18 through March 24 at 399 Lafayette St in Manhattan, it is a space to amplify women’s voices through the one medium where they have historically been able to share their innermost thoughts: their diaries. This diary entry, written by a woman identified as R.Y. from Virginia, is one submission we received. It is performed here by Natalie Gold, of HBO’s Succession.
